This (non-political) recipe comes to encourage you to expel your wife out of the kitchen! Not out of the country, please! I heard you laughing. What happens at HOA since the last week?

Well, the HOA's Political Scene 12 comes this week with the following updates. You read the news last week that ended on April 4, 2010 and here I will continue from that date.

Thanks to our loyal readers, we have more motivated people here to share their opinions and write useful comments. Thanks also to the new susbcribers to the mailing lists both at the HOA's Political Scene Network and the Wise Biz Newsletter. We hope to see more motivated and active sharing.

Once more again fellows, if it is about the convenient language to you, just write in your native language and I will take care of the rest. You can write in Arabic or even in Tigrinya and Amharic. Thanks.

Apr 11, 2010 – Free Detained Eritrean Journalists! About 16 Eritrean journalists have been in some 314 prison camps and detention centres in Eritrea. Four of those journalists have died from harsh conditions. Read more here or bring to the lights some more news about any detained journalist in any country in the Horn of Africa.

Apr 10, 2010 – Somalia! The troublemakers in Somalia know their agendas and their allies in the area. The international resolution failed until now to treat troublemakers and bring peace to Somalia.

Apr 9, 2010 – Muslim Brother's Octopus in Sudan! Another comment added to the relevant thread of the article at a page about the NIF. The commentator says, I wonder if those people in Sudan have never seen the Muslim Brother's Octopus! It lives inside the Sudanese society since the forties. It changes its name and strategies many times to keep on dominating the political scene in Sudan.

Apr 9, 2010 – The Intergovernmental Authority on Development is a new comment page about the IGAD from another perspective. IGAD, the Horn of Africa's Intergovernmental Authority on Development is an independent NGO, or at least it should be. There is no way to get deep into politics unless it deals with political conflicts. Wrong? What is the right? Your opinion counts.

Apr 8, 2010 – Horn of Africa's Journalists! This is a new platform and it comes in addition to the HOA's Squadron of Poets and the Newswires to support the freedom of speech, HOA's Network and those who feed it. There's a call to free detained journalists in some countries in the Horn of Africa. You can add a list of detained journalists to the page.

Apr 7, 2010 – Election! As the presidential election scheduled this month in Sudan gets near, uncertainty and fears from unknown future escalate in Sudan. However, there's a POLL on the page to take and vote for your candidate. Imagine the list of candidates still functions and cast your vote.

Apr 6, 2010 – International Potical Media! This page links to the International Political Media to bring you the late news highlights and some political analyses from around the world. It's important because of the range of political issues in the Horn of Africa you can get from other international sources.

Apr 5, 2010 – Political Link Exchange! This page may not interest you. However, I added it to the network to exchange political links with other webmasters who run political themes. From this point only, you can find other relevant resources to the political topics we cover in the Horn of Africa's Network. The purpose of the page is both technical and informational. The Wise Biz newsletter offers more insights to this technical issue.

Personal Kitchen's Recipes for Men, (Ladies Out, Please!)

Irregular Column:

Well, this is a special corner with more fun added to the serious kitchen's recipes. I thought of it as relevant to our thoughts when we feel things are boring. It can also help you enjoy doing a nice job while you were working, to break up and refresh your thoughts.

I heard many mental diets' experts talking about such kind of a break. However, it helps you also share preparing some tasteful and well-cuisine-designed, appetite raising dishes for the family.

Leave your computer or your work please to the kitchen immediately when you feel tired, bored, or just your mind stopped to think. By the way, you can take the same step when you decide to leave your work place to smoke. This could also help you quit smoking as I did without having me to consult any expert or take any anti nicotine.

While in the kitchen, prepare a dish of salad. There are of course different kinds of salads, but we concentrate on green salad here. Try to do it this way:

Wash the salad ingredients, dry them in a salad spinner and put them in an empty dish.
Take the cucumber, cut it into two pieces, put the two pieces vertical on the board, slice them into vertical pieces while holding them to the board in order and slice them into very small pieces horizontally.
Do the same with the tomatoes, the onion, the carrot, radish, and sweet pepper.
You can add any of the following and dress your salad dish: lettuce, fresh basil, parsley leaves, marjoram, celery, pumpkin seeds, millet, sunflower seeds, crushed garlic, hot pepper, lemon, olive oil or sesame, cheese, capers, mayonnaise, anchovies, shrimp, salmon and sardines to it.
Mix the salad and put it in a salad bowl. Your wife and children will love you more.

You may not find this recipe in any cookbook although it works to raise your appetite and control your weight. You can lose weight only if you stick to it eating much salad.

After light diner, you can take bee-honey and milled sweet (tahniya). These kinds of food can also fuel your sexual appetite and colour your family life. Therefore, your wife will appreciate that you have expelled her from the kitchen. However, if you were still single, then hit the road Jack. Enjoy the humour.
