Sudan Will Rise, Despite Any Dispute, or Personal Interests in the Revolution
!
When the "Sudanese Opposition Coordination Abroad" began, it was my pleasure to energize it with ideas and great achievement of checking drafts of messages to human rights organization, building cases, adding them, editing and translating the memoranda and distributing them to groups and human rights organizations.
It was until lately that I again encountered a conflict with one of the old members. He is from the Umma party, so he first had a conflict of interest with a friend of mine called Khider Attalmanan. Khider is a very nice person and he is also very active.
I tried to calm my friend down and explain to him that we don't want any dispute that time in this body of opposition and all the aim is to work against the
military religious regime. I respected his opinion when he said, "this is not opposition", because I have my own thoughts about it.
The coordination should have no personal interests, and no one can claim he is over all members and he can do what he wants. But, unfortunately, I discovered there are personal interests to someone in the head of the board and he just wants to do what he wants even before discussing with his colleagues in the board.
He makes decisions without consulting anyone. Whenever I criticize the
Sudanese sectarian parties and urge of freeing this coordination from what I call grey parties, such as the
Sudanese political parties, we come again into conflict.
Even when we discuss items in the board of the coordination, he objects and simply deletes anyone with objection. He deleted Khider and then me from the groups the coordination has. All of this has happened despite the fact that he knows the great deal of efforts I made to support the coordination.
Some other Sudanese activists have built this coordination with me included and they respect him to the standard that they can't refuse anything he says. This is the same kind of civil dictatorship we have in the Sudanese sectarian parties. Their leaders are in fact civil dictators.
They don't want to hear any critique and they want from all members of their parties to obey them without any conditions, or arguments. I refuse, of course to be a puppet in such coordination and have not any say in any matter.
Some other members have also disputes with them, including a very active Sudanese advocate, living in Norway, who already has his voice in hundreds of audio distributed everywhere to support the
Sudanese uprising. The coordination has gone in a dispute with some of my colleagues in Germany.
So, I concentrated work hard with
Abadamac and other tens of revolutionary groups towards achieving real
Sudanese revolution, that never revert Sudan to those political parties. Some of these groups also don't want to exclude anyone, even the sectarian parties.
I understand that their goal as much as mine is to conquer the
Sudanese dictatorial regimes, like the one we have in Sudan led by what's called the
National Congress Party, of
Omar al Bashir, the criminal wanted by the International Criminal Court (
ICC).
I have discussed many times that those grey parties and they are rightist parties are the cause of the deterioration in Sudan since the independence of the country from Britain in 1856 and they are the cause of brining military dictators, like
Ibrahim Abbud,
Jafar Al Numeri, and Omar a Bashir into power by military coups three times. So, there's no meaning of bringing them again into any national work.
This argument is still in force running, because many believe that we don't want the old Sudan with the same characters ruling again to complete the evil circle of democracy (well, I call it disocracy) and military coups.
The national struggle is on lightening the horizon of Sudan and we shall not retreat. The
Sudanese intifada and complete intifada must bring us the bright Sudan we want as a secular, modern, democratically civilized and united state.
