Self-Proclaimed, Whatever ...

Self-Proclaimed, whatever is about some ignorant people I knew in my life, some of whom have PhDs to advice you not to nag any author you don't know anything about his authority by saying s/he is self proclaimed, whatever. If you did so, you will only prove your ignorance. Before doing that, read his or her work to know exactly from where his or her authority stems. Don't be foolish, like those doctors, dear reader.

If you do, you will only prove your ignorance. Before doing so, read his or her work to know exactly where his authority comes from.

One ignorant person said this once about me. Another one said something bad because I am a selective person who choses his friends by a selective taste. A third one has been deceived by an author I MADE, to say that he believes what that author says, despite two facts:

Ethically, Journalism isn't Personal!

The professional one, which he lacks meaning to as an author because of his bad behaviors of using his profession as a journalist for two reasons:

  1. to know the top characters in the decision making circles and befriend them for his own personal interest from one side, and...
  2. to use his profession from another side to know leaders of political parties, invite them to his home to get their trust and then write very bad things about them.

How can such personal behaviors be professional or ethical?

The personal one, which concerns me is that the person who believes him has this notion of believing him, although he knows that I made the mentioned author journalist by teaching him what to write and how to write and paved the way for him to become a known journalist.

Not only that, but I taught him to make money from my newspaper and prepared him to take my office to work for himself and me, when I decided to leave my office to work as a freelancer journalist  from another country.

That was because my office was the important section of the newspaper that was tasked with managing the newspaper’s regional and international correspondents.

Academies aren't necessary to acquire global knowledge, or a self understanding to simple human matters.

The mentioned author, whom I made author has forgotten that the "flesh of his shoulders and the flesh of the shoulders of his kids are from my efforts and good deeds".

Is that ethical?

Isn't that so sad and tragic?

It is a kind of a lack of gratitude to the favor, and we have examples of that that we all studied, me and those to whom I refer here in the lessons of the initial, or primary school and before the name of that school changed to the elementary school, during the fifties of the last twentieth century.

One such example is a story about ungratefulness and individual self-intentions in self-deification entitled "Sennimar's Reward".

The story tells of a Sultan who flaunted himself and his greatness, who ordered an architect in his country to build for him a palace that there is no like in this world.

When the architect did so and completed the construction of a wonderful palace that is considered a masterpiece of architecture, the Sultan rewarded him for his work.

The reward he offered him was killing him. You may be surprised at that. But your surprise will disappear when you know that the Sultan’s argument was the fear that that architect would build a palace like his palace to any other sultan in the neighborhood.

The aforementioned Sultan reasoned his killing with this. It is a matter that indicates the utmost absurdity, selfishness and self-love, which reaches the point of deifying it.

A person who has good and positive attitudes will never do that. So, the lesson is to respect your teacher and when this teacher criticize you practically by putting your authority in focus, you should admit your mistakes, in stead of responding to it by nonsense.

When the critique goes to investigate your authority and provide stories about important assets of journalism which are credibility and transparency, which are not found in your authority, you should stand with the facts and decide to defend yourself by logic and not by antagonizing the critic by telling nonsense.

It is not necessary for an author with more than 50 years of his language and work fields of his expertise to have someone professionally to proclaim him as expert in his field. That is because the expertise this person have exceeds the expertise of any other professional in this field.

So, he doesn't need a recognition of someone below his expertise, especially in this time where we see many PhD holders ignorant about many things in this life and some of them have forged PhDs.

Self-Proclaimed, Whatever Connecting Literary Foundation!

Look at what you have achieved, whether in cultural fields, educational fields, environmental fields, human rights fields, journalism fields, political fields and social fields to learn more about it and to teach the people you love from your expertise.

Look also to what you are still achieving in the lights of your previous achievement. You get more ideas of what to achieve next.

Many known inspirational leaders and motivators in the world always speak about their achievements to educate people in the fields of their expertise, not to foster personal images of themselves. In some underdeveloped societies, many people consider such speak as egoistic talk, which is not.

Here is a literary foundation to learn from and then do it... be self-proclaimed, whatever your field is. Let the others who say so to you describing you as self-proclaimed eat grass.
